Sarah Jo Griffin
President - Central Oregon Chapter

Born and raised in Oregon, I graduated from Redmond High School and later attended Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater, Mass., majoring in social studies. I earned a Business Associates in 2011 from COCC and began a brilliant career in Real Estate. After five years of personal growth and development I decided to give energy and life passion for my family's local construction business.
Community support has been at the heart of my ideals. I joined Human Dignity Coalition briefly serving as their Board President. I worked closely with Central Oregon Big Brothers Big Sisters partnering LGBTQ+ individuals with youth for mentorship. For a period of time between 2019-2022 I took a sabbatical to focus on family. In the fall of 2022 I decided to join PFLAG and look forward to supporting community.
Cait Boyce
Vice President - Central Oregon Chapter

Cait moved from San Francisco to Central Oregon in 2004. Since 1971, she has been involved with many LGBTQ organizations including ACT UP! (where she was proudly arrested 2 times), Human Rights Campaign (HRC), International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Intersex Law Association (ILGLaw), Matthew Shepard Foundation, and the National LGBTQ Task Force. Cait was the founder and CEO of The Center For Restorative Justice, a pathway to peace for communities and the incarcerated.
Cait has served as President of PFLAG Central Oregon for 8 years.

Gary Parn
Treasurer - Central Oregon Chapter

Gary grew up on the Washington Coast and worked on the family farm in Ritzville. Gary attended college and graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg. He moved to Prineville in 1978 and began his 31 year teaching career working with elementary students. Gary has served as Treasurer for the Prineville Human Dignity Advocates before coming to PFLAG. Gary was a dear friend and travel companion to our friend, the late Cliff Cook. Cliff was very active in numerous LGBTQ+ organizations in Central Oregon including PFLAG and was affectionally called the "Central Oregon's Gay Mayor". Gary is proud to help oversee scholarships given in Cliff's name to our local high school students and works hard to balance our financials "to the penny"!
Fran Davis

Fran is a long-time "PFLAG mom" and activist. She has been active in many organizations including being the former Chair of the Jefferson County Democrats and the Secretary/Treasurer, of Central Oregon Submarine Veterans for 6 years. She works diligently making sure all our visitors and guests get welcome notes and she, most likely, will be the first person you meet when you attend a PFLAG meeting.

Born and raised in Bend Oregon Ashley Thompson is a kind timid helper bee. She loves to play video games and walk her little dog. Ashley is transgender woman.
